Job description:
- Manages the kitchen in the absence of the head chef
- Works alongside the head chef in accordance with assigned duties
- Organizes the meal production process in accordance with the work order and assignment schedule
- Monitors work orders and sets the preparation schedule for the meals they are responsible for
- Responsible for the safety and quality of prepared meals
- Ensures work orders are completed on time, meeting required meal quantities and preparation deadlines.
- Provides guidance, directions, and instructions to assistant staff to ensure the completion of tasks
- Supervises the work of support staff.
- Monitors and ensures the implementation of established control measures, procedures, and good practice rules
- Oversees the quality of prepared meals
- Ensures cleanliness and hygiene of equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
- Monitors the production process and suggests measures for improvement
- Suggests training programs for kitchen employees
- Performs other tasks as assigned by the General Manager and Head Chef.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of work experience
- Experience in preparing and cooking homemade dishes
