Job description:
- Organizes the production process of bread and pastries according to the work order and assignment schedule
- Monitors work orders and sets the preparation schedule for the bread and pastries they are responsible for
- Responsible for the safety and quality of prepared bakery products
- Ensures work orders for bakery products are completed on time, meeting required quantities and deadlines
- Provides guidance, directions, and instructions to assistant staff to ensure the completion of work tasks
- Supervises the work of assistant staff
- Monitors and ensures the implementation of established control measures, procedures, and good practice rules
- Oversees the quality of baked goods
- Ensures cleanliness and hygiene of equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
- Monitors the production process and suggests measures for improvement
- Performs other tasks as assigned by the General Manager
Requirements:
- Elementary education or a relevant baker’s course
- One year of work experience in bread and pastry production
