Job description:
- Performs qualitative and quantitative inspection of meat upon receipt
- Stores meat in the warehouse and tracks all incoming and outgoing inventory
- Monitors meat storage temperatures
- Performs cutting and portioning of meat and prepares meat-based semi-finished products
- Monitors work orders and establishes the schedule for meat and semi-finished product preparation under their responsibility
- Responsible for the safety and quality of prepared meat-based semi-finished products
- Responsible for the timely execution of work orders regarding the quantity and deadlines for the preparation of assigned semi-finished meat products
- Implements established control measures, procedures, and best practices
- Maintains hygiene of equipment, tools, and work surfaces in the butcher area
- Labels meat and semi-finished products to ensure proper identification and traceability
Requirements:
- Secondary education
- One year of work experience in the same or similar roles
