Job description:

  • Performs qualitative and quantitative inspection of meat upon receipt
  • Stores meat in the warehouse and tracks all incoming and outgoing inventory
  • Monitors meat storage temperatures
  • Performs cutting and portioning of meat and prepares meat-based semi-finished products
  • Monitors work orders and establishes the schedule for meat and semi-finished product preparation under their responsibility
  • Responsible for the safety and quality of prepared meat-based semi-finished products
  • Responsible for the timely execution of work orders regarding the quantity and deadlines for the preparation of assigned semi-finished meat products
  • Implements established control measures, procedures, and best practices
  • Maintains hygiene of equipment, tools, and work surfaces in the butcher area
  • Labels meat and semi-finished products to ensure proper identification and traceability

Requirements:

  • Secondary education
  • One year of work experience in the same or similar roles
