Job description:
- Receives and issues goods in the warehouse and maintains the required records
- Conducts qualitative and quantitative inspection of incoming goods
- Responsible for accurate, timely, and orderly reporting of warehouse inventory; conducts stocktaking and reconciles physical and accounting records
- Monitors the condition of goods in the warehouse and ensures proper storage in accordance with prescribed regulations
- Handles loading and placement of goods in the warehouse, as well as unloading and distribution to different departments
- Responsible for labeling goods in the warehouse and ensuring full traceability of product batches until release
- Ensures that the oldest stock is always issued from the warehouse, unless otherwise directed by the Head Chef or General Manager
- Monitors storage temperatures of goods in the warehouse and in refrigeration units/rooms in kitchens and bakery
- Monitors pest presence, manages pest traps, and maintains the required records
- Performs daily cleaning and maintains the warehouse in an orderly condition
- Implements established control measures, procedures, and best practices
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Procurement Managers and General Manager
Requirements:
- One year of work experience
- Basic computer skills
- Good communication skills
